change of material..

decided to pull out the acrylics and play around with some paint on a canvas surface!   so different, but it was interesting to watch how i preferred the similar blending technique i sort of use with pastels...anyway, just gonna stop messing with this one for a bit....

Also spent some time reading about abstract painting and colour theory.......always good to keep returning to foundation stuff!  

snowing again....and still pretty cold out there....needless to say i haven't ventured outside, other than to the back porch for wood for the stove!!!

Did a preliminary schedule for the upcoming time in the studio....which brought me to the realization that i really only have about 3-4 weeks left this winter to explore painting....better stop the lollygaggin!!!!
