Splashing around

Yesterday Mum told me it was going to be bad weather today (she was right, of course), but we had a walk planned this morning as child entertainment - or I did, D has been away all weekend).  Staying in wasn't an option unless I wanted a house littered with toys - and the contents of most draws and cupboards everywhere.  So off we toddled on the old favourite walk, Robin still in his pyjama's - seems to be a Sunday tradition with him, his outdoor suit keeping him toasty.

Despite the poor weather, which actually wasn't so bad once out, we had a great time and the little one had a lovely time splashing around in the puddles, only one was deemed too much by him, which is a good thing as it turned out to be rather deep.

Home ready for a quick turn around to get back out again to run a couple of errands and the news that we are to have neighbours, who we've met and seem charming.

Husband home, Boeworse from yesterday's farmers market for supper, which was delicious and very welcome to a husband who is ravenous.
