Happy Hummingbird

Every morning we get up we wonder if the little hummingbirds will make it through the night...it has just been bitterly cold at night.  But they are all still here, and enjoying the latest few days of sunshine with all of the snow still piled up on the ground.  We've been venturing out, and even went downtown today for brunch...pretty slippery out there and lots of ice as the snow tries to melt during the day, but then refreezes each night.  This coming week is bringing rain and warmer temperatures, which means we will probably have flooding.  What a crazy winter!
