Catbells in the snow

More snow overnight left us with a good covering today.

Took an afternoon walk over Catbells - a good test of my foot, and a test of my ankle (I twisted it on a kerb in Keswick on Wednesday) as I'm planning a longer walk tomorrow. Both held up well over the 4 1/2 miles.

The winds were really strong - at times it was difficult to stand up. 

Odd that the snow should come today - my "year ago" pic shows that the snow last winter arrived on the same day - though we did have more last year!

In the evening I gave a lecture to Workington Camera Club, which was lovely to see some familiar faces.
