Nearly all gone

I thought there was still enough left of Rosie's favourite vegetable to last until the next day, but she'd already eaten it all by the time I got home from my afternoon/evening shift.

Slowly starting to recover from the recently received bad news (for my finances) but still utterly baffled by the fact that it has taken virtually two years before someone finally spotted the mistake that was made back then. I can only hope that not too many people (if any at all) have been made to suffer the same shock as  me.

The snow we had yesterday disappeared again altogether because of the rain we had nearly the entire day.
