wildcat.....

so a day out with baby McD and her Granda today at the Scottish Deer Centre. Great day out, not the biggest of wildlife centres but still plenty to do and I can't rate the staff highly enough for helpfulness and friendliness. This cat is actually a lot bigger than it seems. It is of course a Scottish wildcat and a huge thanks to Kylie (one of the staff there) for asking if I would like to go into the enclosure with the wildcats to get some pics. Didn't realise how vicious this one looked until I uploaded my shots from the day and saw this. Only then did i realise that it maybe wasn't the smartest of moves (getting in there with these animals). Still if you get the chance get out there and give this place a try, well worth a trip out.
