Sunday: Cattle Point

We started the day with breakfast in the Canadian legend that is 'White Spot' before taking a stroll through Victoria which included a visit to our favourite bookstore, 'Russell Books'. We were quite restrained and only bought six books.

We then went for a scenic drive, stopping off here, at Cattle Point. From there, it was back to the hotel for a dip in the hotel hot tub and a late lunch.

This evening's event was the main reason for being here, namely to attend the local premiere of 'Victoria', the BBC's new series. It's bring shown here by public television and there is a huge following here for shows like that. The hotel we are staying hosted an evening event which included several guests attending in Victorian costume and I was asked to make a few opening remarks. The series looks to be excellent.
