Vegetable Flower Garden

I have long loved leek flowers, and recently I have discovered the beauty of carrot flowers. Last spring I transplanted the crop residue of both into a little plot together. They are doing well together and have grown so tall. The highest carrot flower is over 2 metres. A lot of tiny insects are on the carrot flowers or flying about them. They are solitary bees, flies and beetles.

Hot sunshine and a hot wind made today a bit too summery.
