Shelf life

This little bit of plastic is annoying me.
It is an integral part of a Serious Readers iPad Holder. The shaft has worn slightly over the years and now the extending arm is drooping slightly. A replacement has been enquired after. 
A good test for the company's customer relations department - here's hoping.
