Gliders
After a great day out in York yesterday, this morning we headed out for a short walk. We drove up to Sutton Bank, climbing 500 feet in 3/4 of a mile, where we parked up and walked along the ridge passing a gliding school. It was fascinating watching the small planes bump along the grass pulling the gliders by a small rope which then become airborne to ride the thermals. Rather them than me!!
I'm back home in Brum now to give the kittens lots of fuss, tho i may pop out later to the local for a couple of drinks. After all it is Bank Holiday weekend and i'm actually not working any of it. Woohoo. :-)
