Through The Clouds

We took off on time at 9.15am on the double decker Emirates Airbus A380 from Heathrow to Dubai. It was raining in London but as we rose through the clouds the sun was shining; the duo colour of the blue sky and white clouds setting it off nicely.

The Airbus is very luxurious with your own entertainment consul, free wi-fi, alcoholic drinks, meals (with metal knife and fork!)........and pretty hostesses!

We landed at 7.30pm (3.30pm UK time) for a two night stay stop-over before continuing onto Australia. Just prior to landing the sun was setting and the clouds were a blanket of orange. Lovely to watch. I've chosen the sunburst as we will be doing a sunset desert trip tomorrow which we've done before - but enjoyed it so much we want to do it again!
