Eddie Izzard

We saw a fantastic show by Eddie Izzard tonight in a little theatre in El Raval, Barcelona. An A4 poster stuck on the door of the tiny theatre in a dark narrow street advertised the show - no bright lights or razzamattaz. He worked his audience of 120 with the same talent as I imagine he does with the 18,000 he's more accustomed to.  He did half the show in English and half in Spanish, with the Spanish half being a work in progress to prepare him for a tour of other Spanish speaking countries.   Great night and shared with Nigel and Mireia. We couldn't quite believe we were there and the tickets were only 20 euros!
