Progress? HS2 is planned to crash straight through this sign in a green corner of South Manchester.  Together with proposals for new housing, a village, I think, the place is doomed. Located, just south of the M56 and half a mile from Manchester Airport you think you were in another world.

Today, I took the scenic route back from a prospective client meeting in Bowden to avoid roadworks.
