Hard to beat a bit of Neolithic long barrow burial chamber action isn't it? This is thought to have been the entrance to the long barrow which is long since gone but as it dates to somewhere between 4000 and 3000 BC one cannot expect it to still be in the best of nick. Because your Neoliths didn't think this stuff through they built it halfway up Bluebell Hill and a muddy schlep from the nearest place to park so I hope that you recognise the lengths to which I went for your blipping delectation. Too long since I did any walking so I had to take a break trudging up the hill but the views are worth it.
