Tiny Tuesday
The teeth you see are tiny...the smallest ones being 1/4" long. These teeth once belonged to a powerfully small and ferocious predator, namely the wolverine. The adult wolverine, resembling a bear, is about the size of a medium dog. But don't let their size fool you. They have been known to kill much larger prey such as adult deer, sheep, moose and elk to name a few but their meals mainly consist of small to medium sized mammals.
This wolverine now sits proudly in full mount in the hubsters man cave, our garage. Yes the hubster is a hunter (for meat only) and no he didn't kill it. He is a semi truck driver and on one of his trips through the mountains on his way home, he came upon this wolverine lying on the side of the road already dead. So he scooped it up, brought it home and took it to a taxidermist to have it mounted. Easy hunt. ;)
See the full mount in the extra.
