Christian Krohg

Norwegian painter, writer and journalist - 1852 to 1925. Just shot a blip passing him this morning sitting next to the Parliament in Oslo city. His paintings are well known to us. In the afternoon together with my Rotary club joined a lecture about breast cancer at the Norwegian Radium Hospital. Learnt that we men can get breast cancer too. Not only prostate cancer. Interesting but also got a kind of mixed depressed uncertain feeling after the lecture. Learnt later from Mrs. B that men are easier depressed than the much stronger women. Did not help that cars with diesel engines due to NOx emission were not allowed to be driven in Oslo today. If you were caught the penalty to pay was about 146 GBP. I did go by tram.
