Revenge of the Sheep

Hah!
Vertical knitting grafted onto horizontal knitting - Bring it on!  said I as I progressed down the sleeve.
A little voice in my head - probably my nanna - Pride goes before a fall!
And sure enough - as you can see in the extra... I have developed a sensitivity to wool.... :-(
I can't give up now I wailed.
The solution - absurd though it looks -  a dust mask.
Works.
Less sniffing, not so itchy eyes, less sneezing and coughing.
Okay - it won't win any fashion/beauty prizes... but it works - and I can keep on knitting... just - gimme plenty of warning if you're planning on calling round :-)
