Clematis hair cut

Mr hazelh has given our clematis a short back and sides. I do hope that it will grow back in the spring!

Today I helped Mr hazelh with the supermarket shopping, went for a swim, made a green velvet cushion cover, and prepared a dinner party.

Our guests this evening were D and L. They currently live in the Peak District but are planning a move to Scotland. Their decision was prompted by the English leave vote in last year's referendum. For supper we served home-made chicken liver pâté, fish pie (also home-made), and fruit tarts (bought at Stockbridge market yesterday).

Exercise today: sit-ups, weights and stretches; swimming (50 lengths at Leith Victoria); walk to swimming pool and back.
