Tiny Tuesday - Alstroemeria Petal

This is the section of a Alstroemeria Petal taken using my digital microscope. It is probably no more than 5mm square. I just love the apparently random strokes of red against the white and then if you look more closely there does appear to be a semi-circle of strokes in the left-hand corner. Getting bitingly sharp focus is difficult and I am realising that maybe some glass slides may be necessary to have an even focus over items that naturally tend to curl.
