Athletics-Diamond League, Birmingham

Fabulous day at the athletics in Alexander Stadium, Birmingham. I'm so lucky to be able to travel a short way to see some fantastic sports, music and other events. This is Mo Farah racing in the 2 mile event, which he comfortably and convincingly won. On this early-ish lap Chris Thompson, a friend and other Team GB competitor from the Olympics, was leading.

Great to watch Mo race +win again after seeing him win his Olympic 10km gold - live from the stadium. Amazing man. Today he was running 2 days after his twin girls arrived in the world too!

What a great 2012 he has had!
