Outdoor Learning

Up at 5am this morning!! Caught the 7.15 flight to Southampton and then on to Twyford School for the day. The weather was incredibly kind and it was cold and bright all day, perfect for getting out and about. Lots of fun activities including using ice balls as a starting point for story writing, our creature we created from woodland objects as a stimulus for creative speech and writing. The incredible adventure playground in the school grounds and the intricate biscuits in reception. On closer inspection, they are all made from clay. Exhausted but buzzing with ideas now!
