Heather moors

The moors are at their best just now, with the heather in full bloom.

My photos don't do it justice. The moorland scene is one of those that you need to visualise and keep in you head, along with the smell and the buzz of bees and bugs darting among the flowers. It only last for a week or two which makes it all the more magical.
