Friendly cat

Rosie and I managed to get an appointment with the vet at rather short notice for this afternoon to renew her RHD2 vaccination. A very friendly cat greeted us when we came into the waiting room.

 
It has been a very sad day today. After 16 years and 5 months together, my beloved cockatiel girl Mieke and I are now going our seperate ways. Yesterday evening she had trouble staying on her perch and after she fell off, I held her in my hands all night. At 6:45 this morning, Mieke opened her eyes one last time to look at me as she drew her last breath.  R.I.P. sweet girl.
