Spring weather for Spring Onions

The wretched summer continues. Today we have had the fire on as the temperature has barely been in double figures. What's more we've had rain for most of the day. Which is great for the garden, but not so great for enjoying the outside.

Ah well. We haven't had the predicted gale force winds which were forecasted to hit us this afternoon, so all our preparation of taking down shade sails, moving chairs etc seems a little bit extreme now. After all we get hammered usually without any wind warnings, so we expect ed the worst. Here's hoping they stay away.

With the cloud enveloping us for much of the day, it's not been conducive for heading out to take photos. So today's blip is another from the deck, this time of the head of one of our perpetual Spring Onions plants that sits in a pot.

This is another with the Tamron 90mm lens, this time with a 2x teleconverter. I think I shot this at f/5.6 (f/11 equivalent).
