Distant Hours

I have been reading this book for a while and today I nearly finished it! (I fell asleep 20 pages before the end; so annoying!)
I love this sentence. "Things are otherwise when the world is dark." I've never been a fan of the dark; even places that are familiar and friendly in the light are so different and intimating in the dark.
Nice to know someone else feels the same and I'm not being irrational! (or even if I am, there are 2 of us...)
