horse trials

Off up to Blair Atholl for the final day of the Blair Castle Horse Trials. If you like horses, dogs, tweed, 4x4s or tractors you'd love it. Fantastic weather and some great show jumping. +1/3 got the chance to drive a quad bike (verdict: awesome) while +2/3 was being catapulted skywards by a combination of trampoline and bungees.

Home to cupe of tea then out for a run: 11.5km in just over an hour; it's got to be the furthest and fastest I've 'run' (I don't really consider what I do to be running; it's more an unsightly shamble crossed with some kind of ridiculous bounce).

Quick dinner, cut of the grass, get our crop of potatoes in (very small!) so +1/2 doesn't need to think about while I'm away next week.

Time for a sit down, catch up with a few things then early night.
