Lines Of Thought...

Yet another grey day at the outside office.
Went to university last night, never been to Uni but now I have well just for one night, 2hr more like.
Along with this thing called “The City of Culture “ 'ull has an exhibition entailed “Lines of Thought”
very dangerous this thinking process tha nose. I digress.

Hugo Chapman is the Simon Sainsbury Keeper of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum gave the lecture,(never been to one of these before,) nowt to fear it was a just a man stood on a stage talking about the life and times of Michaelangelo the man who painted ceilings.
To be fair he was just like you and me, tight with his money worked dam hard at his drawing, did lots of practising, and he served an apprenticeship to master. Kept himself to himself , didn't want to give his secrets away like some of the other artist at that time. He was well aware of intellectual property wanting his prep drawing etc to be burnt on his death.
To which I can quite understand, tee hee.
He also did a bit of hip hop with his art too, sort of copy, cut, an paste, as well as early forms of photshop-ing, guess he called that “Artistic licence”. 
Saw as you can tell I quite enjoyed the night, it's quite nice to bullshit but its nice to listen to an expert once in awhile...only kidding.


So today went to sea the exhibition for ma self now knowing what an looking at…. Cos of copy right, you'll just have to go yer selves to sea it don't worry its FREE and there a cafe just next door too.
