Fire, Fire....

A bitterly cold nithering wind.   Temperatures as low as 4C only warming up to 7C.

I don't think we have experienced it this cold before here.   Out and about this morning to Pilates and coffee, the wind was biting and then on the way to Belly Dancing this afternoon, we saw it snowing on the Sierra Gador.   By the time I came out it was just overcast so will have to wait until the morning to see how much there is.

Apparently it has snowed in Barcelona and Benidorm - Elizabethann's blip may have snow today.

From our balcony I could see a good deal of smoke, and noticed a quite extensive fire over in the Greenhouses, and just managed to get a glimpse through the Palm trees.   It was soon under control, hopefully no one has been hurt.

I have made Rabbit stew which we will have with Yorkshires to warm us up tonight.   We are in for a few more days of this I think.

Alan received a phone call this morning from Lola who was in charge of the walking trip to see how he was.   We thought that a lovely gesture.
