Gammy leg

When Jess was 8 months old we discovered that the bones in her elbow hadn't fused together properly and she had to have surgery and a metal pin inserted to hold said bones together.

It didn't stop her boundless energy at the time - and I haven't given it much thought until today (6 years later) looking at today's photo.  Although I cannot detect any pain or discomfort in the way she walks/runs, it does look as if there is something rather awkward in the way she is holding that leg.
