Trafalgar Square

Up to London for a committee meeting this afternoon. I was going to take my better camera but the weight of other stuff in my handbag made me decide to leave it at home, which was just as well as I didn't have much time to look for a shot. The meeting was good but I seem to have ended up "volunteering" to be chair of said committee - only temporarily, I said, until someone else comes forward - but if I don't stand my ground, it will be more than just temporary. 

I started watching the Adam Curtis documentary 'HyperNormalisation' on iPlayer on the way home. Really good - as all his documentaries are - but I think that by the time I've finished watching all 166 minutes of it, I shall be very depressed. 

And my car's in the garage needing new brake pads and discs - so that's another £300 gone. 

Maybe tomorrow will be a more positive day...
