Our builders have started!

No time for blips yesterday.  I went to visit my mother which took nearly 3 hours each way, although it's only 80 miles so I was too tired to bother when I got home.  We spent some time clearing magazines, catalogues etc which had accumulated over 5 years. She is a bit of a hoarder...
Today the builders started work and made quick work of demolishing our spiral staircase.  We've decided to leave them to it.
