Nos. 5 - 6 Wood Street

Another one of Stratford's jewellers, George Pragnell, seller of fine jewellery and pre-owned watches ranging up to £15,000, prices for new watches are available on request.  Not sure when the business opened but it has apparently been run by three generations. The building, dating from about 1595, is Grade II listed and used to be the Unicorn Inn from 1630 to 1775.  It is the only shop I know in Stratford that has a bouncer doorman outside the building, dressed in black coat and hat.
