Alinafe Mhoni

This is Alinafe Mhoni who attends Form 1 in Mzgola secondary School, where we are supporting her.
She lives about 10km from the school  with her uncle since her father died and her mother got married again and left her little girl  (it is normal if the father dies that the children are given to the father's relatives and the mother goes back to her own people, but if the mother marries again the new husband regularly chases the children away). 
If they don't want her then marriage may be the lesser of evils. A cruel and seemingly heartless scenario, to us, at least)

There are no sisters or brothers recorded.

This family are very poor, subsistence farmers with tiny lands.

Alinafe is very old to be in Form 1, as she will be 17 next August and it has shown great courage and comittment  by her uncle that she is going to school.
She got two Grade C and four grade D in her end of term exams
