Relief....

Blackheath is back to its normal misty self. What it does best.

The other relief is the memory card is out of my camera.

For those who want to know the full story, I was testing some spare cards prior to my upcoming holiday. 
I put one in which I had previously dropped and a little tab had come off rendering it "write protected". 
Not a problem, I was going to throw it away but I couldn't get it back out of the camera.

Steve at Camera House succeeded using a blade; a technique I had seen on You Tube but I didn't have the right implement.

When we examined it closely we found a bit of the plastic side of the card was splintered and that was presumably causing the problem, although I had successfully inserted and removed the faulty card previously.

You can probably imagine how relieved I am :-)


PS. This block is for sale. We might need to tie some of our local activists to it if they want to chop the tree down.
