Happy Birthday Mum!

Visited Mum today on the occasion of her 77th birthday. Went with Nina and Jodie as the rest of the family are away.
Niece Laura and her boyfriend Chris (first time I have met him) called round and it was lovely to see them.
The carrot cake I made turned out well, I topped it off with a 'cheesy' sparkler candle contraption from the pound shop ( I think it's marvelous, when you light it a foot high sparkler effect lights 8 candles, the flower opens and it plays 'happy birthday'......bargain! The only thing is you have to dismantle the thing to shut it up!)
