St.Mary's Chapel Rattray

What a glorious day for a walk from St. Combs to Rattray Head with my walking group! We finished off at the old graveyard which surrounds the ruins of this chapel, built in the thirteenth century for a local laird. It is close to the Loch of Strathbeg RSPB reserve so my extra photo is a shot of the loch looking over to Mormond.  A day that lifted the soul!
