Coming in to land?.

A long walk this morning in the sunshine (yes, sunshine! And it was HOT!). Lewis and I decided to try out a track which we hoped would lead us to somewhere near home whilst the rest went to buy provisions for an outdoor lunch.

A section of the path took us through an area of weeds, dead trees and general uninspiring scrub.

And then right in the middle of all the dullness was a single spindly sunflower! And one of those little flies again!

There truly is nothing like a sunflower!
