Another in my occasional 'Then and Now' series of blips.

The original image appears to have been taken in the early part of the last century at 74 High Street, Knaresborough. The premises were occupied by boot and shoe repairers for many years.

Ironically, any boots and shoes have to be taken off in the shop, for the chiropodist, who works there, to get closer to the feet
