Dina
Today, we went to Peterhead to get some DIY stuff for decorating our bedroom. ( Not Jacob's fault)
Sitting in the car next to us was this boxer dog, but no driver.
I saw the driver coming back and asked if I could take a photo of her. She is twelve years old.
Before we had Lucy and Joe, we had two boxers, Amber and Holly, mother and daughter. Dina here, looks remarkably like Amber.
We got Amber and Holly when they they four and one, sort of rescue dogs.
They lived to be fourteen and thirteen.
They were such special dogs.
Amber, the mother, was the most empathetic dog and could tune into someone's mood very quickly. When she was about 10 she developed pancreatitis and became very thin, so much so that a wee boy once asked us why we didn't feed our dog!!
Very bravely, we took them on the ferry from Ullapool to Stornoway to visit a friend and they were brilliant.
There are so many stories I could write about them. They were such characters but if you dislike dogs, you would have really disliked our two, they were so much in your face.
They were brilliant and no prizes for guessing what this lovely link is.
