Dried sunflower field & unexpected occurrence...
I stopped to take a winter blip of a now dried up, unharvested sunflower field. I was preparing the shot when the field came to life and suddenly the sky was black with birds flying up and away for their lives (as far as they were concerned...). They'd been hidden in amongst the sunflowers feeding on the seeds no doubt. It was so unexpected and I was too slow to capture them at their densest - an amazing sight- but here are a few stragglers making their way to the safety of the nearby trees. Sorry birds. I meant you no harm... :-)
