Chimango caracara

Buenos Aires is a great city for birds. Every patch of green has its own rufous horneros, rufous-bellied thrushes, chalk-browed mockingbirds, eared doves, great kiskadees and shiny cowbirds. Overhead there are always grey-breasted martins and monk parakeets. There aren't any crows, but these chimango caracaras fill the same niche, feeding on various dead things.
