My friends have commented that Jake is smaller than they thought, when they meet him in the flesh, this photo will give those who know my house (& therefore my gate) an idea of his (lack of) size.
We never had a 'beware of the dog' sign before, Logan was too daft to see an open gate and leg it, Jake however, is an unknown entity, hopefully the sign (& the recently installed automatic closer) will prevent the gate being thoughtlessly left open, it is certainly not meant to deter wouldbe burglars, I mean, who's scared of a retriever (let alone a currently midget sized one) - apart from the meter reader that is...
