Feast in preparation

Managed to sleep in our 'dorm' and then had a slow get up with croissants and lots of coffee. We went out for a damp walk in the woods around the barn but ended up getting a bit lost. Still nice to be out for some fresh air. 

The taxi booked to take us into Henley for lunch did not appear and without a phone signal on any of our mobiles, it took a while to go back into the house and find out what was happening. Finally our driver appeared and did not make a good impression when he called us a bunch of mad OLD women! We did make full use of wifi and phone signal when we got to civilisation. 

Nice lunch in Henley and then back to the barn for a bit more relaxing before we prepared a meal to share. We were all fairly tired by the time we'd eaten and the evening was much less riotous than the night before.
