On the Cromford Canal

Our last day in Derbyshire and we went for a walk along the Cromford Canal near Matlock.

Years ago the canal used to be busy a busy waterway used for transporting goods and materials from the Derwent Valley. This part of the canal is no longer navigable and it's now a lovely towpath walk with industrial archaeology on the route..
