... for the Parental Units to arrive on the Aberdeen train. It arrived 10 minutes early, we managed to get a quick connection north and were met at the station by +1/3 50 minutes later. Not bad at all.

Quick bite to eat, the +3s talked their ears off catching up and then I dropped them at their hotel to spend a quiet evening recovering.
