Reflection...

A fantastic day off, spent with a lovely friend, who lives in Portland, and, en route to Brussels, wanted to come to Edinburgh to hang out.

The last time we saw each other was 7 years ago (almost to the day). It felt like it was yesterday.

We walked round town, then went for afternoon tea at the Signet Library (which was fantastic) and then walked back to Leith, to try and make space for dinner.

Back to the flat, he met Iain, we chatted some more, and then all headed into town for dinner.

The plan was to go to Dishoom, but there was a 50 minute wait- so Wahaca it was. Again.

Tasty food, more chat, then we said our goodbyes.

We definitely won't be leaving it 7 years until the next time.
