The ride.

It is a strange thing, this cycling gig.


Middled aged men and women wearing skin tight lycra clothing. Waking at 4:30am to ride around town in a close bunch to then share a coffee and a chat dripping sweat everywhere.


We look ridiculous. Most people laugh at us, and sometimes abuse us, but we wouldn't have it any other way.


The comradrie is real, and a very nice way to start the day. For those couple of hours there is just the ride.
