Now that the hay is in...

this farmer is very happy to see the rain clouds gathering.  We have had very little rain, unlike much of the South Island and Wellington area but very cool this morning, snow fell at Mt Ruapehu overnight.  It's been a very unusual summer.  A good day but spending a bit too much time watching the Australian Open, fantastic tennis.
