Artichokes

I have been to the allotment a few times this week.  I have been chatting with some of the older gardeners there who are the Kings of vegetable growing.  I am hoping to learn some tips from them as they have so much knowledge.  At the moment they are double digging their potato beds.
I took this photo as I wandered back to my plot.  There are over 200 allotments at the site.
