Another room...

....another floor to be laid.

It is a satisfying job that I'm getting the hang of after doing four rooms already. The latest night we've had at the house so far, we saw 23:00 in as we were doing quiet jobs with no sawing or banging.

First I had to lay floorboards onto the joists, then plywood all over, then the special waterproof wood effect planks. Another two hours at it and we will have a fully fitted bathroom floor ready for skirting then a free standing bath, shower and sink.

Claire started painting the living room walls too so it's looking less like a building site every day.

Happy with progress this week and bathroom fittings and tiling will commence on Monday.
